Experimental repository
- Experimental characterization of mass transfer from gas to liquid in a bubble column. This data base is part of a project in the frame of SPP1740 "Reactive bubble flows" of the German Research Foundation. It contains velocity fields of liquid and gas phase, bubble trajectories and size distributions, as well as concentration fields for the mass transfer of CO2 into water.
- Characterization of mass transfer, velocity and bubble sizes in a model bubble column. This database was created as part of a DFG-funded project to study mass transfer in bubble columns. It contains bubble size, velocity, shape parameters, fluid velocities and transition component concentrations.
- Characterization of water spray in air co-flow within a wind-tunnel (small drops). Has been developed within the Schwerpunktprogramm 1276 "Skalenübergreifende Modellierung in der Strömungsmechanik und Meteorologie" of the German Research Foundation (DFG). Access on request, please contact K. Zähringer for this purpose. Please note that this database has been established in its final state in 2013.
- Characterization of liquid-liquid mixing behind a static mixer, with and without chemical reactions. Has been developed within the Schwerpunktprogramm 1141 "Analyse, Modellbildung und Berechnung von Strömungsmischern mit und ohne chemische Reaktionen" of the German Research Foundation (DFG). Please note that this database has been established in its final state in 2012.
